Varlion LW Carbon 8 Prisma 2022/2023

LWC 8 Prisma 2022 is the sequel to the very popular LWC Carbon 7 from previous collection, new for the 2022-year model is that the racket has now instead received Varlion's groundbreaking and unique Prisma frame. The racket has a tremendously lovely feeling and a lot of control! If you want to speed up the ball, you can easily do it too.

Prism Frame
LW Carbon 8 Prisma, just as the name reveals, has been equipped with Varlion's unique Prisma frame. The Prisma frame provides better aerodynamics and cuts through the air so that you can get a faster swing by 10% reduced air resistance, while the frame's outermost edge is reduced by 90% and is only a few millimeters wide so you have the smallest possible contact surface that can go in the glass when you dig deep after the balls. All this means better maneuverability of the racket and greater acceleration capacity at meetings.

On the other hand, we have reinforced its delicate tip (head) with a self-adhesive bumper that adapts perfectly to its form, prism bumper. This covers not only the frame but also its connection to the plane of the racket.
Lw (leathal weapon) shape with gradual hole tech
As in previous years, the racket retains its round and generous form, with average balance, LW has a large and generous sweetspot. Just as in Varlion's all rackets, LWC 8 has also a prism holes that are drilled in different sizes, which Varlion calls Gradual Holes. This means that the holes are made less in the middle so that you can have as much the hit surface under the ball as possible and then be made bigger the closer they get. The reason for this is that you as a player should get a bigger sweetspot, regardless of model, and a more forgiving feeling.
Core & surface
The core of the racket is medium hard and gives a good bounce on the ball but can at the same time hold against when you press extra much. On the surface, Varlion in an exclusive collaboration with Italy's largest carbon fiber has used a 3K carbon fiber used, among other things, in well-known brands such as Ferrari. The carbon fiber maintains a higher standard than usual and also provides more performance.

Slice-tech
When it comes to applying effects to the hits, it presents a rough texture in the plane called slice, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that make the ball get more stuck. As these contours are cast into the surface, the structure will never disappear.

Safety strap
Unique to Varlion's rackets is also the way the safety strap is stuck in the handle itself instead of in the bud. This means that the security strap is more or less impossible to tear off.
