Varlion Bourne Carbon 2 Prisma 2022/2023

Bourne Prisma Carbon 2, 2022, is a new racket from Varlion with an "oversized" diamond form and which has a lot of focus on power. The racket encompasses a lot of power and extremely wonderful feeling!

Prism Frame
Bourne Prisma Carbon 2, just as the name reveals, has been equipped with Varlion's unique Prisma frame. The Prisma frame provides better aerodynamics and cuts through the air so that you can get a faster swing by 10% reduced air resistance, while the frame's outermost edge is reduced by 90% and is only a few millimeters wide so you have the smallest possible contact surface that can go in the glass when you dig deep after the balls. All this means better maneuverability of the racket and greater acceleration capacity at meetings.

PRSIMA BUMPPER
On the other hand, we have reinforced its delicate tip (head) with a self-adhesive bumper that adapts perfectly to its form, prism bumper. This covers not only the frame but also its connection to the plane of the racket.

Bourne Shape
The racket has a hybrid shape between drip and diamond as well as a medium balance to give you the greatest possible sweetspot and power in the racket, which can be likened to an oversized diamond shape. Bourne is a model that was born in 2018 from the merger between Cañon (diamond form created in 1995) and avant (tear form created in 2009). As a result, we achieved a drop -shaped racket, designed for players seeking control in their game without losing power.

Gradual Hole-Tech
To make this even more generous, Varlion uses its Gradual Holes technology, which means that the holes on the hit surface are drilled in different sizes. The holes are made bigger the closer the frame they come to compensate the stiffness from the frame and create a more homogeneous feeling throughout the hit surface.

Core & surface
The core of the racket is medium hard and gives a good bounce on the ball but can at the same time hold against when you press extra much. On the surface, Varlion in an exclusive collaboration with Italy's largest carbon fiber has used a 3K carbon fiber used, among other things, in well-known brands such as Ferrari. The carbon fiber maintains a higher standard than usual and also provides more performance.

Slice-tech
When it comes to applying effects to the hits, it presents a rough texture in the plane called slice, which has been designed and developed with a series of curved lines that make the ball get more stuck. As these contours are cast into the surface, the structure will never disappear.

Safety strap
Unique to Varlion's rackets is also the way the safety strap is stuck in the handle itself instead of in the bud. This means that the security strap is more or less impossible to tear off.
